A Step Ahead Day Camp
Project Details
1. Website Design and Management
This website has two objectives: to inform parents about this day camp and to allow them to purchase tuition and sign their kids up for camp each summer. Each year, I update the graphics and content to reflect the upcoming year’s schedule and pricing.
2. Shopping Cart and Store
Parents purchase tuition and pay a registration fee each year. The site is setup to allow them to choose their specific dates and calculates the final cost with discounts based on number of days and multiple sibling discounts. When checking out, the buyer has the option to pay upfront (and receive a discount by a certain date) or divide their payment in three installments.
3. Extensive Data Collection thru Gravity Forms
The site provides the camp a way to collect data on their camper’s and obtains parent signatures. Extensive conditional arguments are utilized to provide the parents with a seamless experience when completing the forms in an effort to not complicate or overwhelm them from the entire process.
4. Signage and T-Shirts
Making sure Campers can find the camp is aided by some “Street Talkers” and rectangular banners. Lightweight and weatherproof, they did a great job pointing the way.
