Print Design

Design and production for printed marketing materials

Creating visually pleasing designs to promote your product or service

Having a product or service to sell is the first step to operating a business. Learning who your customer is and how to reach them is the next. That’s where I come in. Teach me about what you do and what you know about your customer. Then we’ll work together on telling that story in a way that can convert to actual sales and growth.

I excel in taking large amounts of complex information and presenting them in a way that makes it easy to understand. And just like everything else, my work is custom and specific to you. There is no such thing as cookie-cutter design here – it’s customized to you and your business.

From small flyers to multi-page catalogs and magazines or even life-sized cardboard cutouts for your next event, I have a custom solution waiting for you.

Equipment and Technology

I am on a full Apple platform using an iMac Pro for my design and production. I have a calibrated monitor so I can ensure what I’m looking at will match the final product and use all the latest Adobe Creative Cloud software. For print jobs, I primarily use Adobe InDesign supplemented with Photoshop and Illustrator. I create low resolution pdfs for printing and web integration and provide printers with high resolution pdfs for their purposes.

Pricing Structure

I generally price all of my graphic design services on a per project basis. I really like to give people a range of what it will cost and never go above the top end of the range unless, of course, the parameters of the project have changed. I find it useful to have set project pricing for two reasons. One, many of my clients aren’t in this business so they don’t have an idea of how long something will take to produce. Second, by having a set price, you won’t be shocked when you get the final bill.

On my large scale projects, I price items per page. That way you can change the size of your book at any point and still know what the final cost will be.

There are of course exceptions to these rules. I have some long-term clients that I have ongoing relationships with – meaning we do something every month. On those accounts, we establish a monthly rate and I bill them every month.

No matter what, I’m flexible. We’ll work together to figure out the best price for both of us!
